CPV: Dienstleistungen von Architektur-, Konstruktions- und Ingenieurbüros und Prüfstellen Der Bauhof deckt eine Vielzahl kommunaler Aufgaben ab, fungiert als "Allrounder" und leistet einen wesentlichen Beitrag zum Erscheinungsbild der Gemeinde. Seit 2018 wurde intensiv an einer interkommunalen Bauhoflösung im Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Neckargemünd gearbeitet. Trotz vielversprechender Ansätze konnte keine dauerhaft tragfähige Kooperation erreicht werden. Vor diesem Hintergrund war die Gemeinde gehalten, eine eigenständige Lösung weiterzuverfolgen. Der Bauhof ist aktuell auf mehrere Standorte verteilt. Diese Struktur führt zu organisatorischen Mehraufwänden, Zeitverlusten und fehlenden Synergieeffekten. Hinzu kommen erhebliche bauliche Defizite wie verschachtelte Bestandsgebäude, unzureichende Sozialräume sowie das Fehlen einer arbeitsschutzrechtlich erforderlichen Schwarz-Weiß-Trennung. Die Notwendigkeit eines modernen, zentralen Neubaus wurde dem Gemeinderat im Status-Quo-Bericht "Bauhof" 2024 dargelegt.
