Das bestehende Gebäude ist hinsichtlich des Platzes, der Technik und den Arbeitsbedingungen nicht mehr ausreichend. Der Neubau soll die Einsatzfähigkeit langfristig sichern, die Arbeitsbedingungen verbessern und die Zusammenarbeit zwischen hauptamtlichen und ehrenamtlichen Kräften stärken.----Die neue Feuerwache Pfaffenhofen a.d. Ilm entsteht als zukunftsfähiges, leistungsstarkes Einsatz- und Logistikzentrum. Sie bietet Platz für 14 Einsatzfahrzeuge, moderne Werkstätten, eine vollwertige Einsatzzentrale sowie Sozial- und Ruheräume für haupt- und ehrenamtliche Kräfte. Das Gebäude ist auf 24/7 Betrieb ausgelegt und schafft optimale Voraussetzungen für schnelle Hilfeleistung, Ausbildung und Einsatzbereitschaft.
